How should Kind Cakes be handled? (Retailers)

Since Kind Cakes are a fresh-frozen product they require frozen shipping and storage.  We strongly recommend retailers defrost the amount needed for three hours (at room temperature), and then display in the refrigerator for sale.

What is the shelf life for Kind Cakes?

Kind Cakes are FRESH FOOD and contain no preservatives.  This means Kind Cakes will spoil faster than your average snack cake.  Kind Cakes can be kept frozen for up to 6 months then thawed and enjoyed! After being thawed Kind Cakes have a 6 day shelf life in the refrigerator.

How can I get Kind Cakes into my school?

Most schools utilize food service management companies to handle their needs. If you’d like to see Kind Cakes sold at your school send us an email with your name, school, and contact information.  You can also request Kind Cakes to your dining services manager.
